Syreford Quarries produce natural Cotswold Building Stone from our own Quarry and also source various colours and specifications of building stone to suit our client's requirements. These range from traditional rustic Cotswold Rough Dressed Building Stone through to the smooth and polished faced Ashlar building stone.
Our Cotswold building stone is produced using both traditional and modern methods of working adhering to strict quality control guidelines. This therefore ensures that quality and consistency of product is extremely high enabling production levels to meet delivery schedules and programmes. All our building stones are produced to suit current UK building regulations as facing materials.

Cotswold Rough Dressed Building Stone
Cotswold Rough Dressed Building Stone offers a fantastic 'rustic' appearance with irregular shapes and sizes dug and cropped from the various seams within the quarry.
- Cropped on bed to 115mm / 125mm
- Supplied in random lengths.
- Course heights to suit project requirements.
- Supplied in bulk bags containing 5 Sq m
Cotswold Ashlar Building Stone
Cotswold Ashlar Building Stone is sawn on all six sides and polished on one face to produce a smooth sided building product.
- Produced to your specifications based upon bed, height and length dimensions.
- The bed width is generally kept to 100mm in line with standard building techniques.
Cotswold Sawn and Split Building Stone
Cotswold Sawn and Split Building Stone is sawn on the top and bottom bed. This allows it to be laid easily, and creates a more symmetrical appearance than the rough dressed stone. It is usually supplied with a lightly tumbled finish which knocks off sharp corners and edges to produce a more natural appearance.
- Available in course heights of 65mm, 90mm, 115mm & 140mm or other upon request.
- Supplied in random lengths
- Supplied on pallets containing 5 Sq m
